Daimyo Alonso

Daimyo Alonso is a purple belt in jiu jitsu, active competitor, and member of the coaching team at Ground Game Theory. Accountant by day and grappler by night, he teaches the 6 PM Foundations class every Monday and Wednesday. Daimyo's style is aggressive, relentless, and highly intentional. His extensive competition experience keeps him closely connected to what works across all levels of grappling, making him a valuable resource for both new and experienced students alike. While he is an accomplished submission grappler, Daimyo's attention to detail, focus, and ability to communicate complex ideas clearly are what make him an exceptional coach.
